SAGITTARIUS
NEW MOON, December 13, 2012 at 12:42 am PST and 03:42 am EST at 22 degrees.
This New
Moon, this month, and this year mark a momentous turning point, the
end of a 26,000-year cycle, known by many names: the Great Awakening, the Ascencion,
the Mayan End Times, the Hopi Fifth World, Christogenesis, Timewave Zero, and
others. The number 12 symbolizes completion - the union of heaven and earth, sacred
and secular. December 12, 2012 and December 21, 2012, the dates most often given
for this evolutionary passage, do not mark the end of the world, but rather the
initiation of a global shift, from living in duality and materialism to realizing
our unity and divinity.
The
most visible marker for such a large cycle is the apparent alignment of the winter
solstice with the center of our Milky Way galaxy, symbolic of Spirit's deepest
descent into matter and its return to the Light. The more we clear our shadow,
the more conscious we become, and the more receptive we can be to the extraordinary
cosmic upgrades offered by this alignment. As we shift our focus from making a
living to making a difference, as we heal and open our hearts, we perceive and
live in an entirely different world.
New Moons mark the beginning of a new cycle and, in Sagittarius,
the birth of new views of ourselves and our place in the universe. The Sagittarian
Archer aims at the heavens, its arrow literally pointing toward the heart of our
Milky Way galaxy. Light encodes information. The Galactic Center (GC) transmits
immense amounts of electromagnetic radiation; celestial bodies aligning with the
GC focalize those high-energy particles, triggering shifts in consciousness and
facilitating the integration of feminine and masculine, as well as a more balanced
relationship between humankind and the natural world. Venus's
conjunction with
the North Node in Scorpio
at this New Moon emphasize the evolutionary imperative for equality and collaboration,
enjoining us to evolve from the love of power to the power of love.
Just
a few hours after this New Moon forms, Uranus
ends its yearly retrograde
phase, amplifying cosmic support for a quantum leap in consciousness. The archetype
of higher intelligence, innovation, and liberation, as well as the planet most
associated with Aquarius,
Uranus stationed ret- rograde five months ago on July 13 at 8°32' Aries;
its turn- ing direct impels us to take a giant step forward. This is also
a SuperMoon, increasing electromagnetic and gravitational pulls on the Earth's tides and tectonic plates, as well as our psyches.

On
December 20-22, Jupiter,
the planet traditionally associated with Sagittarius, forms a yod or "Finger
of God" aspect (two quincunxes and a sextile) with Saturn
at 9° Scorpio and Pluto
at 9° Capricorn,
mandating us to transcend the bounds of our parental, religious, and soci- etal
programming. Spiritual awakening requires assimilating and integrating the aspired
to unfamiliar, and the newly awakening parts of ourselves, and cleaning up all
aspects of our lives.
It's
never been more crucial to be clear about our inten- tions and visions for the
future. This New Moon, vastly empowered by the transformative forces of 12/12
and 12/21, magnifies what is in our minds and hearts. What we believe, we will
see. What we desire, we will manifest. Are we choos- ing love or fear? Are we
creators or victims? Are we living our life purpose or our programming? Our answers
to those questions determine how we will experience this extraor- dinary time
in history. "2012 will depend on who you are. Nothing
will happen to you. What happens is what you choose to happen …" (Diana
Stone)

PLAN
YOUR OWN NEW MOON CEREMONY. Give yourself
some quiet time in meditation to see where you need to seed new ways of becoming.
List these areas within your life you want to change. What areas do you want to
break free from the norm and become more productive and discerning? The NEW MOON
is the time to manifest the personal attributes you want to cultivate as well
as the tangible things you want to bring to you. Possible phrasing: I now manifest
____ into my life. I am now _______ . Remember, think, envision and feel with
as much emotion as possible, as though you already have what you want. Thoughts
are things and the brain manifests exactly what you show it in the form of thoughts,
visuals and emotions. The Buddha said, and I am paraphrasing, "We are the
sum total of our thoughts up to today. " If we want to be different then
we must change our thoughts. "If you always
do what you've always done then you'll always get what you've always got."
CONSCIOUS CHANGE is the key.
