Regrow Your Cellbody

Regrow Your Cellbody
Growing New Bodies
Biologists sometimes compare the aging process of cells to the making a copy of a copy of a photocopy. By the ninety-ninth copy, the image grows fuzzy around the edges. Every seven days more or less our skin cells divide, making copies from the previous generation. Sometime around our late thirties the crow’s feet around our eyes become more pronounced, our skin loses some of its elasticity, and age lines begin to appear. If only we could find the original image and duplicate it… My experience with luminous healing has shown me that we can copy from the first image, we can inform who we are today from that original source that informs all of life. The same source that informs the redwood trees and the spiral arms of the Milky Way is available to inform us. But to achieve this, we must be connected to this source, to be in communion with all life. I know such people. They have been my greatest teachers.

As an anthropologist I was trained to study ‘primitive’ cultures. The native peoples I worked with had no toasters, televisions, or coal fired power plants that spew millions of pounds of pollutants into the atmosphere every year.  People often assume that because a culture lacks technology, its view of life is misinformed, or primitive. For a long time I believed this myself, even though I would admit it to no one. When I first visited the pueblos in the American Southwest or villages in the Amazon I carried with me the arrogance of a western anthropologist studying people that I was taught were almost smart, like us. That is, until I met Antonio.

He was the descendant of the builders of Machu Picchu, of a people who built cities in the clouds, a nation that forged one of the greatest civilizations in the Americas. He was poor, he had no toaster or television, did not even have electricity, even though his neighbors did. But he had tasted infinity.

How did I know? You know when you meet someone who is not stalked by death as the rest of us are. You know by their radiance, by the serenity that accompanies them, by their fearlessness, by how they walk with beauty on the Earth. What he said made sense. His words touched me beyond my intellectual understanding. This old Indian, and countless other medicine peoples throughout the Amazon, the Andes, North and South America, would share with me over the years a luminous healing practice founded on the experience of our infinity, and of our interconnectedness with all of life.

Full Moon in Libra and Holy Week

March 27, 2013
Greetings,
We are in the midst of an intense period of change and integration. People are experiencing strong and more intense ups and downs. The highs seem higher and the lows, lower. The most important thing to remember is that these strong energies are impacting us all, including the children. There is nothing wrong with you, it is all a part of your evolution; it is our awakening to the new and letting go of the old and outdated.
Treat yourself. Indulge yourself. Be kind and easy with yourself. These new experiences can be unsettling and so spending more time doing what is enjoyable helps to keep us in balance.
Remember that everyone is doing their best to manage, so be as kind to others as you would want them to be to you. Bless the lives of the children with your compassion, time and love. It really is all about the love. Try and demonstrate that loving energy to those that act out, as they are the ones who need it the most. We are fortunate to understand what is going on energetically. Many haven't a clue and act from an unconscious place. Hopefully our extended love will help many over the bridge.
Thanks to all who have extended love and support to me since my hip replacement. I am doing exceptionally well and continue to progress ahead of schedule.
Until next time, stay positive, be fearless and spread your light and love.
Sending love, gratitude and blessings to all.

FULL MOON IN LIBRA (7 degrees) Wednesday, March 27, 2013, 02:28 am PDT and 05:28 am EDT.
Fasten your spiritual seatbelt; this is one of the most important and intense Full Moons of the year. The Sun, Venus, and Mars have transited from the still, embryonic waters of Pisces to the dynamic fires of Aries, magnifying the evolutionary currents of the ongoing UranusPluto squares and propelling all of us to take a giant step forward on our path. Whenever a faster-moving planet links up with an outer-planet aspect, the winds of change pick up. The force of this Full Moon begins as the Sun moves into Aries on March 20, then spikes as Mars conjoins Uranus at 8° Aries on March 22 and squares Pluto at 11°30' Capricorn on March 26. Strong transformative tailwinds continue through the end of the month, as the Sun, Venus, and Uranus conjoin on March 28, followed by a Sun–Venus square to Pluto on March 31, all of which greatly accelerates the drives for freedom and reform. It’s time to change or be changed. Shift Happens, inside and around us, but when we look back, we can see that things have been building to a flash point for a long time.
Aries is the first sign in the zodiac, representing the dawn of a new cycle and the sprouting of new forms. This is the archetype of initiation and exploration — the Fool in the Tarot stepping into the unknown. Ruled by Mars, Aries’ primary life lesson is the development of courage and the ability to choose one’s battles wisely. Both Aries and Mars symbolize yang, masculine energy. The conjunction of the Sun, Venus, Uranus, and Mars in Aries signifies a collective readiness for the return of the sacred masculine, which pro- tects rather than destroys life, and co-creates with, rather than dominates, the feminine.
Several aspects add to the transformative energies of this Full Moon. The Moon in Libra — the sign of balance, partnership, and peace — opposes the Sun, Venus, Uranus, and Mars, instructing us to remain conscious of how our choices and actions affect others. Jupiter and Chiron form an exact square at 11° GeminiPisces just a few hours before the peak of this Full Moon, helping us to grasp the big picture and connect head with heart. Mercury has been in Pisces, traveling close to Neptune and Chiron in that sign and squaring Jupiter, for most of February and March, honing our intuition and ability to access metaphysical realms. Both Saturn and Pluto make close quincunxes to Jupiter, forming a yod or Finger of God, pointing toward where we need to transform disempowering beliefs. Chiron trines Saturn and sextiles Pluto, making it easier for us to let go and trust that something better is waiting in the wings.
This Full Moon affirms that this is a time of pivotal choices, with the crucial one being living in love, or living in fear. Now is the time to act on the insights and visions we received at the previous New Moon and during the Mercury retrograde. Choose love. Embody truth. Bless the past and walk into the future, for “You stand at the threshold of a grand adventure. And the extent to which you are able to experience the fullness of that journey is determined by the extent to which you are able to let go of the scenarios that no longer serve you.” (Rasha)

Some excerpts are from The Mountain Astrologer by Stephanie Austin.
A Full Moon symbolizes the fulfillment of the seeds planted at a previous New Moon or some earlier cycle. Each Full Moon reminds us of the seeds that may be coming to maturity, to their fullness, to fruition, to the place where the fruits or gifts are received. It may seem that fulfillment of our goals takes a long time. Some intentions may manifest within the two week phase prior to the next New or Full Moon. Some however, depending on their complexity, may take a much longer time. Just remember that our thoughts and emotions set Universal Action in motion and much work takes place behind the scenes as everything is orchestrated for fulfillment. Keep visualizing your goals as though you have already attained them and they will eventually manifest. Do not concern yourself with current conditions or worry about controlling it. The universe takes care of those details. Just keep seeing what you want, and move in that direction with your actions, and give no energy to what you don't want. Patience is required.
PERSONAL MOON CEREMONY Find the time to have your own private Moon Ceremony. You have a three day window of energy in which to manifest your intentions. The day before, the day of, and the day after.
For the Full Moon, jot down two or three areas of your life you want to clean up. The Full Moon is the time to release or get rid of the things that no longer serve you, so by the next New Moon your slate is clean for new beginnings, or fertile for the planting of new seeds.

Possible phrasing: I now release______ from my life. I now release my destructive ________ patterns. I now let go of fear, jealousy, anger, envy, negative thinking, etc... Remember, think and envision as though you have already let go of what you have released. See yourself free and living your dreams. Thoughts are things and the brain manifests exactly what you show it in the form of thoughts and visuals about yourself. The Buddha said, and I am paraphrasing, "We are the sum total of our thoughts up to today. " If we want to be different then we must change our thoughts. What you think about grows!! "If you always do what you've always done, then you'll always get what you've always got." CONSCIOUS CHANGE is the key.

To BE Happy or Not to BE

22 Things Happy People Do Differently

There are two types of people in the world: those who choose to be happy, and those who choose to be unhappy. Contrary to popular belief, happiness doesn’t come from fame, fortune, other people, or material possessions. Rather, it comes from within. The richest person in the world could be miserable while a homeless person could be right outside, smiling and content with their life. Happy people are happy because they make themselves happy. They maintain a positive outlook on life and remain at peace with themselves.
The question is: how do they do that?
It’s quite simple. Happy people have good habits that enhance their lives. They do things differently. Ask any happy person, and they will tell you that they …
1. Don’t hold grudges.
Happy people understand that it’s better to forgive and forget than to let their negative feelings crowd out their positive feelings. Holding a grudge has a lot of detrimental effects on your wellbeing, including increased depression, anxiety, and stress. Why let anyone who has wronged you have power over you? If you let go of all your grudges, you’ll gain a clear conscience and enough energy to enjoy the good things in life.
2. Treat everyone with kindness.
Did you know that it has been scientifically proven that being kind makes you happier? Every time you perform a selfless act, your brain produces serotonin, a hormone that eases tension and lifts your spirits. Not only that, but treating people with love, dignity, and respect also allows you to build stronger relationships.
3. See problems as challenges.
The word “problem” is never part of a happy person’s vocabulary. A problem is viewed as a drawback, a struggle, or an unstable situation while a challenge is viewed as something positive like an opportunity, a task, or a dare. Whenever you face an obstacle, try looking at it as a challenge.
4. Express gratitude for what they already have.
There’s a popular saying that goes something like this: “The happiest people don’t have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything they have.” You will have a deeper sense of contentment if you count your blessings instead of yearning for what you don’t have.
5. Dream big.
People who get into the habit of dreaming big are more likely to accomplish their goals than those who don’t. If you dare to dream big, your mind will put itself in a focused and positive state.
6. Don’t sweat the small stuff.
Happy people ask themselves, “Will this problem matter a year from now?” They understand that life’s too short to get worked up over trivial situations. Letting things roll off your back will definitely put you at ease to enjoy the more important things in life.
7. Speak well of others.
Being nice feels better than being mean. As fun as gossiping is, it usually leaves you feeling guilty and resentful. Saying nice things about other people encourages you to think positive, non-judgmental thoughts.
8. Never make excuses.
Benjamin Franklin once said, “He that is good for making excuses is seldom good for anything else.” Happy people don’t make excuses or blame others for their own failures in life. Instead, they own up to their mistakes and, by doing so, they proactively try to change for the better.
9. Get absorbed into the present.
Happy people don’t dwell on the past or worry about the future. They savor the present. They let themselves get immersed in whatever they’re doing at the moment. Stop and smell the roses.
10. Wake up at the same time every morning.
Have you noticed that a lot of successful people tend to be early risers? Waking up at the same time every morning stabilizes your circadian rhythm, increases productivity, and puts you in a calm and centered state.
11. Avoid social comparison.
Everyone works at his own pace, so why compare yourself to others? If you think you’re better than someone else, you gain an unhealthy sense of superiority. If you think someone else is better than you, you end up feeling bad about yourself. You’ll be happier if you focus on your own progress and praise others on theirs.
12. Choose friends wisely.
Misery loves company. That’s why it’s important to surround yourself with optimistic people who will encourage you to achieve your goals. The more positive energy you have around you, the better you will feel about yourself.
13. Never seek approval from others.
Happy people don’t care what others think of them. They follow their own hearts without letting naysayers discourage them. They understand that it’s impossible to please everyone. Listen to what people have to say, but never seek anyone’s approval but your own.
14. Take the time to listen.
Talk less; listen more. Listening keeps your mind open to others’ wisdoms and outlooks on the world. The more intensely you listen, the quieter your mind gets, and the more content you feel.
15. Nurture social relationships.
A lonely person is a miserable person. Happy people understand how important it is to have strong, healthy relationships. Always take the time to see and talk to your family, friends, or significant other.
16. Meditate.
Meditating silences your mind and helps you find inner peace. You don’t have to be a zen master to pull it off. Happy people know how to silence their minds anywhere and anytime they need to calm their nerves.
17. Eat well.
Junk food makes you sluggish, and it’s difficult to be happy when you’re in that kind of state. Everything you eat directly affects your body’s ability to produce hormones, which will dictate your moods, energy, and mental focus. Be sure to eat foods that will keep your mind and body in good shape.
18. Exercise.
Studies have shown that exercise raises happiness levels just as much as Zoloft does. Exercising also boosts your self-esteem and gives you a higher sense of self-accomplishment.
19. Live minimally.
Happy people rarely keep clutter around the house because they know that extra belongings weigh them down and make them feel overwhelmed and stressed out. Some studies have concluded that Europeans are a lot happier than Americans are, which is interesting because they live in smaller homes, drive simpler cars, and own fewer items.
20. Tell the truth.
Lying stresses you out, corrodes your self-esteem, and makes you unlikeable. The truth will set you free. Being honest improves your mental health and builds others’ trust in you. Always be truthful, and never apologize for it.
21. Establish personal control.
Happy people have the ability to choose their own destinies. They don’t let others tell them how they should live their lives. Being in complete control of one’s own life brings positive feelings and a great sense of self-worth.
22. Accept what cannot be changed.
Once you accept the fact that life is not fair, you’ll be more at peace with yourself. Instead of obsessing over how unfair life is, just focus on what you can control and change it for the better. New Moon 2013

PISCES NEW MOON, March 11, 2013 at 12:52 pm PDT and 3:52 pm EDT at 22 degrees.
This New Moon offers an exceptional opportunity for profound insights, deep healing, and major shifts in con- sciousness. Neptune, Mercury, Chiron, Venus, the Sun and Moon, and Mars are all in Pisces, forming a huge celestial doorway into higher dimensional realms.

As the final New Moon of the astrological year, this is a powerful time to review how far we have come and where we want to go next. The Pisces invitation directs us to turn inward into the hidden realms. Explore the personal universe within. Rest, reflect, and remember your divine origins and your divine mission.

Pisces, the twelfth and last sign in the zodiac, represents the return to the Source. Each sign has its set of lessons, and Pisces’ primary challenge is having to unlearn most of what it has been taught. Pisces takes us into transpersonal territory, far beyond logic and the limits of the mind, into the depths and mysteries of the heart. In Pisces, we realize that we are multidimensional beings and that the gateway to higher dimensions is unconditional love. Just as a television or radio has different channels and programs, we too can attune to different frequencies. Science reports we currently use only 10% of our brain and that 90% of our DNA is inactive. The vast majority of our universe (96%) lies beyond our five senses and most sophisticated instrumentation. Pisces takes us into our sixth sense, where mysticism and quantum physics meet, where nothing is solid and everything is connected. Every culture and religion has its name for this greater reality — the Great Spirit, the Tao, the Force, Buddha, Brahman, Sofia, Allah, God, Source, and many others.

In psychological terms, Pisces represents the collective unconscious, the archetypal and primordial realms, as well as the dreamworld, imagination, and the gamut of human emotions, from madness to ecstasy. Neptune, the modern ruler of Pisces and the mythic God of the Sea, provides instructive metaphors for this fluid and ethereal territory. Like a drop of water, we eternally emerge and dissolve, momentarily an individual expression of the Oneness but never truly separate. Water, like emotions, can be calm, stormy, and everything in between. Feelings ebb and flow. Grief comes in waves. We are sometimes misty, swamped, lost at sea. When the fog rolls in, we have to use our sixth sense, intuiting our way.
Modern Western civilization has focused much more on the Piscean fish that swims sideways than the fish heading for heaven. Denying the sacred and deifying the secular can lead to addictions and escapism of all kinds; we become victims, looking for someone or something to save us, or rescuers, playing god instead of recognizing that everyone is God. Deluded, distracted, and exhausted by the overstimulation of modern life, we thirst for the divine, unable to see that we are swimming in an ocean of unconditional love.
So, how do we explore and navigate this mysterious realm in safe and healthy ways? Through meditation, prayer, contemplation, reading sacred texts, dreamwork, art, music, dance, collage, journaling, gardening, healing work, divination tools, being in nature, being in silence, being in gratitude, doing things we love. Follow your intuition. Give yourself as much soul time as possible around this New Moon — and every day. Do a media fast and focus on what is good and positive.
This New Moon at 22° Pisces tells us that it’s time to bring the sacred into every area of our life. Listen deeply to your heart and soul. Remember: “In order to find new lands, you have to lose sight of the shore for a long time. The truth is immense and it’s not anywhere else. It’s being with what is. The kingdom of heaven is within you.” (Taj Inayat Khan)
Some excerpts are from The Mountain Astrologer by Stephanie Austin.
PLAN YOUR OWN NEW MOON CEREMONY. Give yourself some quiet time in meditation to see where you need to seed new ways of becoming. List these areas within your life you want to change. What areas do you want to break free from the norm and become more productive and discerning? The NEW MOON is the time to manifest the personal attributes you want to cultivate as well as the tangible things you want to bring to you. Possible phrasing: I now manifest ____ into my life. I am now _______ . Remember, think, envision and feel with as much emotion as possible, as though you already have what you want. Thoughts are things and the brain manifests exactly what you show it in the form of thoughts, visuals and emotions. The Buddha said, and I am paraphrasing, "We are the sum total of our thoughts up to today. " If we want to be different then we must change our thoughts. "If you always do what you've always done then you'll always get what you've always got." CONSCIOUS CHANGE is the key.

Dukka

In the Buddha's Four Noble Truths, he suggested that our lives are colored by a pervasive feeling of unsatisfactoriness.

He used the words dukka to describe this feeling and said that it was one of the fundamental characteristics of psychological experience. We want what we can't have and don't want what we do have, we want more of what we like and less of what we don't like.
We are always a little bit hungry, or a little bit defensive, anticipating the slipping away of what we have worked so hard to achieve.
Behind every suffering, Buddhist teachers say, is the desire for things to be different.
This attempt to control or manage what cannot be changed interferes with our going on being. ~ Mark Epstein

Women at War
was a story I wrote thousands of moons ago, dissecting the role of women in combat, and it got filed away like the rest of my Perish Publishing diatribes. I wanted to know why women didn't go to war as men did, and even though now (2013) they are so sanctioned, what will happen to women at war?

I did not consider it for long as I was traditionally antimilitary. I saw no future for myself as a soldier or a sailor or a marine, but the truth is much colder than the reality.
We are born into the warrior class. Class is a system within Society which seems to divide us into castes. We all come from castes or social strata, or as the sociologists love to call it - SES
or SocioEconomicStatus. Most of us are born with none. There's not even an ounce of Hapsburg blood or Kiowa or Cheyenne. Our lineage is another story altogether, but the reality is that Women must learn to fight. All Women Everywhere must learn basic warrior woman skills or be killed.

Even if just psychologically
